I care enough to inspire excellence which creates opportunities for performance.

Inspiring students to achieve excellence can be a daunting task but keeping an open mind about what is possible in an educational setting allows students the opportunity to be passionate. Passion leads to excellence and the desire to perform. Caring enough to know your students and their interests can directly influence lesson design and keep the pathway to excellence open. Extensive experience with the MYP, DP and nine content standards have allowed ample opportunity for student excellence but my investigation into where music education might go in the future continues. Wherever I go in the future I know that I want my students to have experiences crafted around achieving excellence which leads to performance.
